For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
AXLE. The common axis of rotation of 1 or more wheels whether power driven or freely rotating, and whether in 1 or more segments and regardless of the number of wheels carried thereon.
MOTOR VEHICLE. Every vehicle which is self-propelled.
TRAILER. Every vehicle with or without motive power designed for carrying property and for being drawn by a motor vehicle.
TRUCK. Every motor vehicle designed, used, or maintained primarily for the transportation of property and shall include a combination of a truck tractor and trailer as defined.
TRUCK TRACTOR. Every motor vehicle designed and used primarily for drawing other vehicles.
