§ 112.23 RECORDS.
   (A)   The owner or person in charge of one or more taxicabs or autos-for-hire shall keep a record of any public vehicles, showing the body number, city license number, state license number, and data necessary to identify the driver of the vehicle at any time.
   (B)   The owner or person in charge shall also keep a record of the time of departure from and arrival at his or her garage or headquarters of that taxicab or auto-for-hire. All taxicab and auto-for- hire drivers shall make records which shall be preserved by the owner or person in charge, showing the time of beginning and time of ending of each trip, the first and last stop, and the amount of fare collected. The record shall be subject to inspection at all times by the Police Department and by the Mayor, and shall not be destroyed for a period of six months.
