§ 54.38 EXPENSE OF REMOVAL OF DEBRIS, AND THE LIKE.
   (A)   If the owner fails to barricade and light the obstruction at once, or the owner fails to remove such debris, stone, or other material from the street, the Mayor shall be authorized and directed to barricade and light such obstruction and to remove the same. In each case the owner of the premises shall be liable to the village for the expense thereof.
   (B)   In cases of immediate emergency, the Mayor shall be authorized to act to remove such debris, stone, dirt, or other material at once.
