§ 56.72 PERMITTED AND PREFERRED LOCATIONS AND SITING STANDARDS FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FACILITIES.
   (A)   Existing historic districts.
      (1)   A wireless communication facility shall not be placed within 100 feet nor directly in front of an historic structure or site.
      (2)   A wireless communication facility shall not be mounted on or inside an historic structure.
      (3)   Within Old Town and on its borders, preferred streets include:
         (a)   Wooster Pike;
         (b)   Lanes and access roads;
         (c)   Murray Avenue;
      (4)   Wireless communication facilities within 200 feet of the Old Town Square or the Village Square are strongly discouraged.
      (5)   Wireless communications facilities are strongly discouraged within the tree lawn/pedestrian furnishing zone of any right-of-way in Old Town. Lanes exist behind every street that can be utilized instead.
      (6)   In order to maintain the character of our village, we strongly encourage that wireless support structures and associated small cell facilities not be placed closer than 750 feet.
   (B)   Potential historic districts.
      (1)   Wireless communication facilities shall not be placed in or immediately adjacent to a potential historic district, landmark or site, or conservation area or site where the application for historic designation was filed with the village, pursuant to designation of historic districts, landmarks, and historic sites regulations, § 151.075(I) of the village Code of Ordinances, prior to the filing of a wireless communication facility application, until a final decision has been made regarding that pending historic designation.
      (2)   Timing of decisions on wireless communication facilities permit applications will be made within the prescribed limit of 60 or 90 days depending on permit type, regardless of a pending designation process.
