(A) Complete restoration. Fees shall be in accordance with current schedule on file at the Col. Donald L. Shanks Municipal Building.
(B) Inspection charges. Rates of charges shall be in accordance with current schedule on file at the Col. Donald L. Shanks Municipal Building.
(C) Cancellation charge. If a permit is unused by the permittee within the time specified therein or if incorrect information is contained in the application which requires the issuance of a new permit, the unused or incorrect permit shall be cancelled and a charge of $4 made for the issuance and cancellation of each permit.
(D) Additional charges. The prices given in the schedule are basic prices to be charged for a standard opening, which has been excavated and backfilled in accordance with these rules and regulations. If paving blocks or paving bricks have been damaged to such an extent that 20% or more must be discarded, the permittee shall pay for all blocks in excess of 20% at current market prices delivered to the work.
(E) New street. If, by special action of the Mayor, a permit is issued to open any pavement less than three years old, an additional charge will be made for such opening. This additional charge shall be on a sliding scale and shall be 2% of the regular charge for each unelapsed month or fraction thereof of the three year restricted period. For example, if the pavement is 27 months old when the opening is made, the additional charge will be 18% over the regular charge. If the pavement is nine months old when the opening is made, the additional charge will be 54% over the regular charge.
