§ 153.08 METHODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT USED IN MAKING RESTORATION.
   Methods, materials, and equipment used in making restoration shall conform to the current edition of the State Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications insofar as they are applicable. On request of the Village Engineer, a permittee making his or her own restoration shall furnish to the village a full report of laboratory tests of any or all materials used for restoration. Tests shall be made by a competent testing laboratory. All sample and testing costs shall be paid by the permittee. On concrete pavement or concrete base, the permittee shall pay the cost of procuring and testing cylinders. These cylinders shall be taken and tested by technicians of the laboratory, at least two cylinders for every 100 square yards of pavement or fraction thereof; one cylinder to be tested at the age of seven days, the other at 28 days. Materials failing to meet specifications will be rejected and shall be removed from the project by the permittee.
