(A) There is established the position of Mayor’s Court Clerk, whose duties shall be to attend all sessions of the Mayor’s Court and, whenever requested by the Mayor, issue receipts for fines and costs collected, issue and receive funds, and prepare an accounting of the funds.
(B) The Mayor, with the consent and approval of Council, shall appoint the Clerk of the court.
(C) The compensation to be paid to the Clerk shall be as established by Council from time to time.
(D) The Clerk is authorized to pay compensation to the Mayor’s Court Clerk, on certification by the Mayor of the compensation due.
