§ 111.01 PURPOSE; LICENSE REQUIRED; DISPLAY; PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION.
   (A)   No person shall sell or offer for sale, barter or exchange or go from door to door soliciting the purchase or gift of any goods, wares, merchandise or other articles of value or money in any place in, upon, along or through the streets, avenues, alleys or other public places with the village without first having obtained a license and identification tag therefor that is in full force and effect and issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.
   (B)   No licensee shall fail to display such license and identification tag on him or her at all times while exercising such calling, so that such license and identification tag is visible to any person being solicited, police officer or other official of the village.
   (C)   No licensee shall fail to retain upon his or her person additional evidence of personal identification, which shall be so displayed upon request.
