1261.887 RAINGARDENS OR VEGETATED BIOSWALES

A rain garden is a depressed area in the landscape that collects rainwater from a roof, driveway or street and allows it to soak into the ground. Raingardens are planted with appropriate grasses and flowering perennials. Can work in conjunction with bioretention cells and bioswales.
