(a) No minor of school age shall be at any public places within the City, except in attendance at school during school hours on school days, unless the minor of school age: 1) has written proof from school authorities excusing the person from attending school; or 2) is accompanied by a parent; or 3) is home schooled; or 4) is engaged in remote learning, online learning or blended learning, as defined by the Ohio Department of Education.
(b) Any minor of school age who violates division (a) of this section is an unruly child and is subject to the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Court.
