As used in this chapter:
(a) "Minor" means any person under the age of 18 years.
(b) "Minor of school age" means a person six years of age but under the age of 18 years.
(c) "Parent" means any person having legal and physical custody of a minor:
(1) As a natural or adoptive parent;
(2) As a legal guardian;
(3) As a person who stands in loco parentis; or
(4) As a person to whom legal and physical custody has been given by order of court.
(d) "Public places" means public streets, alleys, highways, sidewalks, public parks, playgrounds and places to which the general public has access and a right to visit for business, entertainment or other lawful purposes, including, but not limited to, any store, shop, restaurant, tavern, bowling alley, cafe, theater, drug store, pool room, shopping center, and any other place devoted to amusement or entertainment of the general public.
