1494.08 ORDERS FOR CORRECTION TO OBTAIN A TEMPORARY PERMIT TO OCCUPY.
   (a)   Except in the case of immediate danger to the public health or safety, a temporary permit to occupy may be issued to the owner of record. The temporary permit to occupy shall include the order(s) by the Building Commissioner for the correction of all code violations, which shall be corrected by the owner of record within 90 days of the issuance of the temporary permit to occupy. The Building Commissioner may, at his discretion and for good cause shown, grant an extension of time for any such completion of code violations, and may require the owner of record to establish an escrow account as required in Section 1494.09 to ensure the correction of all such violations.
   (b)   Any property purchased at a Sheriff’s sale, or other court-ordered auction, if violations noted in the temporary permit to occupy have not been corrected within 90 calendar days as set forth in subsection (a) hereof, the Building Commissioner may extend such time for completion, but shall require the owner of record to establish an escrow account as required in Section 1494.09 to ensure the correction of such violations. The owner of record may, at the discretion of the Building Commissioner, obtain a performance bond in the amount of the escrow funds required according to this section.
