(a) Any change in the property owner of record, property manager, use group or property title, the property owner shall notify the Building Commissioner in writing within two weeks of such change, and shall apply for a new certificate of occupancy according to the requirements of this chapter.
(b) Change in Use. Any change in the nature or extent of the use as specified on the certificate of occupancy, shall render the certificate of occupancy null and void. A change of use shall not be permitted unless a new certificate of occupancy has been issued by the Building Commissioner. Any such change of use without the approval of the Building Commissioner will subject the owner, agent, or person in charge to the penalties provided in Section 1494.99.
