1494.02 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY REQUIRED.
   No owner, agent or person in charge of any building shall rent or lease such building or any part thereof for occupancy, and no person shall occupy such building or any other building, unless the owner thereof holds a certificate of occupancy (also known as an occupancy permit) issued by the Building Commissioner for such building and/or use, which certificate has not expired, been revoked or otherwise become null and void.
