(a) It shall be the responsibility of the Fire Prevention Bureau to post all occupancy loads, using the guidelines outlined in Rule 10 of the Ohio Fire Codes. The Building Commissioner and the Fire Prevention Officer or Fire Chief shall concur before any posting of occupancy loads.
(b) No person or business shall occupy a commercial building until an occupancy permit has been issued from both the Building and Fire Departments.
