(a) Dwelling. An existing building, dwelling structures and appurtenant dwelling structures or any portion thereof, presently used under the provisions of Section 115 of the Ohio Residential Code "Existing Buildings and Structures" may continue to be occupied and used if the building is maintained in conformance with the code edition under which installed.
(b) Non-dwelling. An existing building, non-dwelling structures and appurtenant non-dwelling structures or any portion thereof, presently used under the provisions of Chapter 34 Section 3401.2 Maintenance of the Ohio Building Code "Existing Structures", may continue to be occupied and used, provided the building is maintained and occupied in conformance with the approved plans, and approved existing use, and code edition under which installed.
