1472.02 BRICK FACING.
   No permit shall be granted for the construction of any commercial building or any building to be occupied for residence purposes by more than two families, unless all exterior, above grade walls are completely faced with masonry face brick, ashlar or coursed rubble stone with trim of finished wood, metal or concrete material.
   Construction of any building upon industrial zoned property bordered by residential or multifamily zoned property, or fronting a main thoroughfare, shall not have more than one-quarter of the total exterior, above-grade wall area of any construction material other than masonry face brick. Construction on industrial property not visible from main thoroughfares or bordered by residentially zoned property may, at the discretion of the Planning Commission, be constructed of recommended building materials other than those specified herein.
   No permit shall be granted for the construction of a garage building accessory to any building to be occupied for residence purposes by more than one family, unless the side walls and rear wall are completely faced with masonry brick and unless the front wall, excluding the area which is doorway or doorway trim, is completely faced with masonry brick. Any garage building accessory to a single-family residence shall be constructed in accordance with the hereinabove specifications unless the exterior walls of such garage are constructed of aluminum siding or wood products customarily used for exterior purposes.
