Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 731.231, there is hereby adopted by and for the City the 2011 Ohio Building Code (OBC), 2011 Ohio Plumbing Code (OPC), 2011 Ohio Mechanical Code (OMC), 2011 National Electrical Code (NEC), being particularly the 2011 edition of Ohio Building Code (OBC) thereof, as adopted by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, Department of Industrial Relations, and as published in Division 4101:2 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), save and except such portions thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted. The codes listed above shall hereinafter be collectively referred to as the Ohio Building Code or (OBC).
