Private garage means an accessory building or enclosure, primarily designed or used for the permanent or temporary storage of motor vehicles, enclosed by walls on all sides and having a door or doors, and in which no occupation, business or service for profit is carried on. Private Garages are further divided as follows:
A. Attached garage means a private garage having all or part of one or more walls in common to the dwelling or to a covered porch attached to the dwelling and complying with the Fire Prevention Code.
B. Detached Garage means a private garage which is completely surrounded by open space and complying with the Fire Prevention Code. A garage connected to the dwelling by an uncovered terrace is defined as a "detached garage".
C. Built-in Garage means a private garage located within the exterior walls of a dwelling and complying with the Fire Prevention Code.
