The Maple Heights Fire Department is hereby authorized to charge certain fees for ambulance transports, with recourse for non-payment. The Maple Heights Fire Department is also authorized to provide billing services for other communities in exchange for pre-determined fees. In doing so, the Maple Heights Fire Department will comply with all requirements of HIPPA, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.
