(a) Water lines and appurtenances shall be constructed in accordance with the standards prescribed by the Division of Water and Heat, City of Cleveland. House service connections shall be three-quarter inch copper pipe. Service connections for multifamily dwellings and other buildings shall be as prescribed by the Division or the City Engineer considering the volume of water necessary to serve the premises for consumption and fire protection.
(b) Flush pipes consisting of two and one-half inch valves, pipe and spigot connection, in a cast-iron box shall be provided where designated by the Division.
(c) Lines crossing over each other or lines radiating from a water line to another street shall be separated in accordance with the standards of the Division.
