Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for a first offense and shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). For each subsequent offense, such person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall, if a corporation, be fined not more than three thousand dollars ($3,000), or, if an individual or a member of a partnership, firm or association, be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both.
