As used in this chapter, "secondhand dealer" means any person dealing in the purchase or sale of secondhand articles of whatever nature, other than old gold, silver, platinum or other precious metal Or jewels of any description and other than secondhand manufactured articles composed wholly or in part of gold, silver, platinum or other precious metal or jewels of any description, or in the purchase or sale of pawnbroker tickets or other evidence of pledged articles or, not being a person licensed under Chapter 860, any person ' dealing in the redemption or sale of furs, clothing or other pledged articles.
