860.15 ENFORCEMENT; REPORT TO MAYOR.
   The Chief of Police shall enforce this chapter, make all reasonable effort to discover alleged violators, notify the Director of Law whenever he or she has reasonable grounds to believe that a violation has occurred, act as complainant in the prosecution thereof, aid such officers to the best of his or her ability in such prosecutions, and make a separate report to the Mayor at the end of each fiscal year. The Chief shall employ such deputies as may be necessary to make the investigations and inspections and to otherwise perform the duties imposed by this chapter.
