856.13 LICENSE REVOCATION.
   The Mayor may revoke or suspend any license for a nursing home if it is determined that the nursing home is being operated or maintained in violation of the requirements of this chapter or of the regulations promulgated pursuant to this chapter or for any of the additional following causes: fraud or misrepresentation in obtaining the license; maltreating or abusing any resident of such nursing home; using practices inimical to the physical, mental or moral well being of any resident; or conducting the nursing home in a manner constituting a breach of the public peace or a menace to the public health, safety, morals or welfare. Such revocation or suspension of the license shall be in addition to any other penalty that may be provided by law.
