No person shall engage in or carry on the business of operating and conducting a bowling alley without first obtaining from the Mayor a permit for that purpose and paying a permit fee.
The permit fee for the term commencing on the date of the issuance of the permit and ending on December 31 of the year in which the permit is issued shall be thirty dollars ($30.00) for one alley used in any bowling alley and ten dollars ($10.00) for each additional bowling alley.
