452.20 WARNING SIGNS.
   (a)   The owner and/or driver of any motor vehicle that is performing work on, adjacent to or above any public street, who, by reason thereof, has parked such motor vehicle in a public right-of-way so as to obstruct in part or in whole any lane of traffic, shall cause to be placed a warning sign of work being performed, which sign shall be not less than two feet by two feet with visible markings indicating work ahead, and shall place the same in the on-coming lane of traffic not closer than 100 feet nor further than 300 feet from the point where the vehicle is parked and the work is being performed.
   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree and shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 408.01.
