298.02 MAYOR'S COURT COMPUTER FUND.
   (a)   There is hereby established a fund to be known as the Mayor's Court Computer Fund. Expenditures shall be made from the Mayor's Court Computer Fund to finance the computerization and/or the acquisition and/or maintenance of legal research services for the Mayor's Court, including, but not limited to, computer space, computer electrical, computer air conditioning, computer furniture, computer printer and supplies (i.e. computer paper, etc.) and computer software; subscriptions to computer service(s); staff to operate the computer system, including fringe benefits and training expenses; maintenance of equipment; and computer needs studies.

   (b)   Effective December 1, 1993, or at a later date sufficient to give at least ten days notice, each separate offense handled by the Mayor's Court shall have an additional court fee as follows:
      (1)   For offenses handled by waiver: up to five dollars ($5.00) per offense.
      (2)   For offenses handled by appearance at Mayor's Court: up to ten dollars ($10.00).
   The above sums shall be deposited into the Mayor's Court Computer Fund.
   (c)   The Mayor is hereby specifically given the authority to adjust the waiver schedule for the various traffic violations and other offenses.
