260.21 ACTUAL NOTICE OF EMPLOYMENT; REMUNERATION AND SEVERANCE PAY.
   No employee, having achieved paid status under this chapter, shall receive any remuneration until actual notice of such employment is made public and recorded in the minutes of a regularly scheduled Council meeting. This shall apply to current employees who are reclassified and to employees requiring medical or disability leaves of absence. Furthermore, no employee shall be granted severance pay under this policy until after notice of resignation or retirement is made public and recorded in the minutes of a regularly scheduled Council meeting.
