(a) Non-bargaining office, administrative and clerical employees shall work an average thirty-seven and one-half hour work week. Such work week shall consist of five days of seven and one-half hours per day. An employee's department director may, at his or her discretion, assign any five days in any calendar week. All wages and benefits applying to a forty-hour work week shall also apply to persons working an average thirty-seven and one-half hour work week.
(b) All other full-time non-bargaining City employees shall work an average forty-hour work week. The forty-hour work week shall consist of five days of eight hours per day. An employee's department director may, at his or her discretion, assign any five days in any calendar week.
