(a) Pursuant to the Emergency Rules of the West Virginia Statewide Addressing and Mapping Board on file with the office of the Secretary of State, Title 169, Series 2 of the Code of State Rules, the City of Mannington hereby elects to participate in the West Virginia Statewide Addressing and Mapping Project.
(b) All provisions of the 9-1-1 Addressing and Mapping Ordinance of the Marion County Commission, dated July 3, 2003, including the penalties for non-compliance, herein apply within the City Mannington, as if fully set forth herein, except as set forth in subsection (c) below.
(c) Nothing in this section affects existing City-type addresses, which are satisfactory for 9-1-1 and emergency services purposes, provided that those addresses are consistent with the Statewide Addressing and Mapping Project and otherwise comply with the Rules and Regulations of the West Virginia Statewide Addressing and Mapping Authority.
