§ 152.158 CONTINGENCY DEPOSIT.
   (A)   The Village Council may require, in addition to the security, an amount of 10% thereof to cover such contingency expenses that might occur due to failure, defects in construction, unforeseen costs, etc., of any improvement required in these regulations in this chapter.
   (B)   The period covered by the contingency deposit shall not exceed 2 years from the date of acceptance of the improvement. Excess funds, if any, shall be returned to the proprietor at the end of the 2-year period.
