In considering applications for approval of subdivision plats, the standards set forth in this subchapter shall be considered to be minimum requirements. Where a duly adopted and published General Development Plan requires higher standards, such higher standards shall apply. The Planning Commission and the Village Council recognize that the standards set forth in this subchapter are directed primarily to residential subdivisions and that such standards are not always reasonably applicable to mobile home subdivisions, commercial subdivisions, and industrial subdivisions. Therefore §§ 152.095 through 152.099 is included to provide the necessary modifications. Variances from the standards set forth in this subchapter shall be granted as provided in §§ 152.180 through 152.189, herein.
