§ 119.13 TRANSPORTATION NETWORK DRIVER, DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY.
   (A)   It is the policy of the city that transportation network drivers be free of substance abuse. The abuse of alcohol or the use of illegal drugs reduces awareness and increases the potential for accidents. Substance abuse thereby increases both the risk of injury to fares and citizens of the city and the risk of damage to public and private property. This policy will be administered to all transportation network drivers by the City Clerk or designees of the City Clerk in accordance with the drug and alcohol policy identified in §§ 118.20 - 118.29.
   (B)   All TNC licensees shall include on its website, mobile application, and riders' receipts, a notice or information on the licensee's zero-tolerance policy for intoxicating substances and the methods to report a transportation network company driver whom the rider reasonably suspects was under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the ride. The website and mobile application shall include a phone number or mobile application call function and email address to report the zero-tolerance complaint.
   (C)   All TNC licensees shall ensure compliance with this policy of its drivers who are active on the TNC dispatch system at any given time.
