For the purposes of this chapter, the measurement of all physical parameters or entities associated with acoustics, sound, noise, or vibration shall comply with the most recent S series standards of ANSI, American National Standards Institute, Standards for Sound, Acoustics, Shock and Vibration, Bioacoustics. Furthermore, all physical parameters, or entities determined or calculated from such measurements relevant to acoustics, shock, vibration or bioacoustics shall be determined or calculated in accordance to the most recent S series standards of ANSI where so applicable.
