No person shall engage in, conduct or carry on the activity of a special event without a permit issued under the provisions of this chapter. The permit shall not authorize any activity that is also required to have a separate license or permit as required by the Village of Mahomet Municipal Code. Failure to acquire a permit is considered a violation and subject to penalties as described in § 97.07.
