The requirements for construction of public infrastructure may be met by the payment of a fee in lieu of construction for each type of public infrastructure. The calculation of the fee shall be based upon the estimated cost of construction for each type of public infrastructure, as set forth herein. The fees collected by the Village shall be specifically identified and maintained as a separate account within the village's General Fund for each type of infrastructure. The fees collected shall only be utilized for construction of public infrastructure in furtherance of the Village policies for extension of urban public infrastructure to urbanizing or developing areas. The subdivider will be considered to have met his/her obligation to construct public infrastructure improvements as a part of the subdivision process.
