It shall be unlawful and a violation of this section for any licensee or permittee under this chapter to fail to keep the area of any licensed or permitted premises where alcoholic liquor is then being sold, offered for sale, delivered or served for consumption on the licensed or permitted premises to be continuously illuminated so that all the portions of the licensed or permitted premises shall be clearly visible at all times.
