§ 110.024 ISSUANCE OF LICENSE; INSURANCE.
   (A)   The Local Commissioner shall have the authority to issue a license under this chapter if:
      (1)   The applicant is eligible to apply for a license under this chapter;
      (2)   The issuance of the license is otherwise not prohibited pursuant to the applicable provisions of this chapter or any other ordinance, code, rule or regulation of the village or the applicable provisions of the Liquor Control Act; and
      (3)   The applicant, applying for a license under § 110.021 above filed with the Local Commissioner a certificate of insurance issued by an insurance company authorized to do business in the state certifying that the applicant has liquor liability insurance coverage for the licensed premises in an amount that is at least equal to the maximum liability amounts set out in § 6-21 of the Liquor Control Act and general liability insurance coverage for the licensed premises in an amount not less than $500,000.
   (B)   Each licensee under this chapter shall maintain the insurance coverage described in division (A) above at all times during the term of the license.
