§ 70.14 PARKING CODE HEARINGS.
   (A)   Persons receiving a notice of violation may request a hearing waiver and submit a notarized statement to the Village Administration Building to contest a violation notice. The request must be received within the ten days allotted for payment of fines. After the ten-day period, violators shall be subject to the higher fine amounts listed herein.
   (B)   Persons receiving a notice of violation may request a hearing to contest a violation notice. The request must be received within the ten days allotted to pay the fine on the notice or the persons shall be subject to the higher fine amounts listed herein.
   (C)   Hearings will be held before an appointed Hearing Officer for the village. The Hearing Officer will preside at each hearing and his or her decision to either dismiss or uphold the violation will be the final ruling on the violation. If the violation is upheld, the violator will be required to pay the original fine amount within ten days of the hearing date. Failure of the person to make the payment shall be subject to the increased fine amounts and court costs in § 70.99 below.
