§ 52.076 WELL ABANDONMENT.

Any existing well which is no longer in use shall be fully sealed and abandoned within 60 days after use ceases. Well abandonment shall be performed in full accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Water Well Construction Code. The well owner shall notify the village within 30 days of the abandonment of any well and shall provide the village with a copy of all well abandonment documentation.
