It shall be the duty of the Water Plant Operator to report to the Village Administrator conditions that may adversely affect the village water supply. The Administrator shall review all relevant and available information, and shall determine whether or not a condition of high usage, water shortage or water emergency exists. If the Village Administrator determines that a condition of high usage, water shortage or water emergency exists, the Administrator shall, with the advice of the President of the Board of Trustees, declare the appropriate water conservation methods and procedures to be in full force and effect. The Administrator shall take those actions necessary to alert the public of the required conservation practices, including providing notice to newspapers, radio stations and television stations.
