There is hereby created the position of Village Planner. The Village Planner shall be employed as a department head and shall be appointed by the President, with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees pursuant to § 31.04. The Village Planner shall have qualifications substantially equivalent to those of a city planner, including, but not limited to, educational and professional training and/or experience in planning, plan review and land use principles and procedures.
