(A) The foregoing recitals are incorporated herein as findings of the Board of Trustees.
(B) (1) The official village logo (“village logo”) shall consist of a capital letter “M” with a river running through the middle of the “M” to represent the Sangamon River which is surrounded by green to represent the city’s green space and recreational aspects of the community, and two white strips at the base of the “M” to represent the village’s proximity to Interstate Highways 72 and 74.
(2) Variations of the village logo may appear (e.g., in square or shield outlines) with the name and slogan of the department or organization so authorized to use it.
(C) The village logo shall be used only for the official business of the village and its various departments, except that the village logo, or a variation thereof, may be used for the official business of the Village Area Chamber of Commerce, Mahomet Public Library, Mahomet Seymour Community Unit School District (CUSD) No. 3 or other department, organization or entity granted prior written approval by the Village Administrator.
