§ 51.15 POWER COST ADJUSTMENT CLAUSE CHARGES (PCA).
   The rate schedules in this chapter shall be subject to the power cost adjustment clause charges in addition to the aforesaid rates. The Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) is expressed as dollars per kWh and is multiplied by the energy (kWh) sold during each billing period to each customer. The PCA is designed to be calculated monthly based on actual power costs and energy sales for the applicable month. The following formula shall be utilized to calculate the PCA:
   (A)   PCA = A/B - Base Rate where.
   (B)   PCA = The cost adjustment expressed as dollars per kWh to be multiplied by the energy (kWh) sold during each billing period to customers on rates subject to the PCA.
   (C)   A = Actual wholesale power cost for the applicable month (includes all wholesale power costs as billed by Kentucky Utilities).
   (D)   B = Actual energy sales from rates subject to the PCA for the applicable month.
   (E)   Base Rate = The Base Rate is the base wholesale power cost expressed as dollars per kWh, included in the base rates for all retail customers. The Base Rate for retail rates effective July 1, 2012 is forty six and ten hundreds cents ($0.04610).
