Upon the filing of the application and payment of the license fee established in § 111.04, the Clerk- Treasurer shall issue to the applicant a license permitting the operation of the taxi, with said license expiring at midnight on December 31, same year the license was issued, plus the Chief of Police shall give to the applicant a separate license card for each vehicle, which card shall be prominently displayed in the vehicle for which it was issued.
