Regardless of the provisions of any other ordinances or provisions of the City Municipal Code, providers of Dial-A-Ride services under contract with the city shall obtain and maintain in full force and effect during the course of their contract liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 for each accident and $1,000,000 for injuries in any one occurrence and property damage liability in the sum of $100,000, naming the city as an additional insured and which policy shall provide that the city shall be given 30 days written notice prior to the cancellation of any such policy.
