§ 4-2.02 RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF INTOXICANTS IN PUBLIC PLACES; EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to drink intoxicating liquor on the public streets, sidewalks, alleys, vacant lots, or in public places within the city except it shall be lawful to drink intoxicating liquor in public places where intoxicating liquors are lawfully sold for consumption in such public places under the laws of the state, except, it shall be lawful to drink intoxicating liquors within the confines of the Rotary Public Park Picnic Pavilion by those persons within a specific group who have obtained a permit for rental of the Rotary Park Picnic Pavilion for use and have paid the permit and security deposit fees therefor.
   (B)   Except as provided herein it shall be unlawful for any person to possess any open container containing any alcoholic beverage in any public park within the city.
   (C)   Violation of this section is expressly declared to be a misdemeanor.
