(A) Public water supply.
(1) Where public water supply is within reasonable distance, as determined by the State E.P.A., the developer is encouraged to construct a system of water mains and fire hydrants and connect with such public water supply and provide a connection for each lot or potential building site.
(2) Where a public water supply is not available, the developer shall provide suitable supply of drinking water for each lot in the subdivision.
(B) Public water distribution systems. Public wells and other public water distribution systems shall meet the requirements of the State Department of Public Health and State Environmental Protection Agency regulations.
