Section 8.06 Removal.

The Director of Public Safety can be removed by the Mayor. The Director of Public Safety may appeal the removal to Council. Council shall consider such appeal, shall hold a public hearing concerning the appeal, and may overturn the removal upon four (4) affirmative votes of the members of Council.

The Director of Public Safety can be removed by Council by four (4) affirmative votes of the members elected to Council.

The Director of Public Safety shall serve until removal as provided in Section

8.06 hereof, or upon written resignation.
